Hermias began in 2005 along the Mediterranean coast, founded through the shared vision of a Master Goldsmith, a Master Diamond Setter, and an entrepreneur inspired by timeless craftsmanship.
It was during this time that our founders were drawn to Iasos — an ancient city on Türkiye’s turquoise shores, where history and the sea have long existed side by side.
There, they discovered the legend of Hermias.
The Legend of Hermias
In the ancient city of Iasos, a story endured through centuries.
A young boy named Hermias was once lost to the sea and later found beside a dolphin. An extraordinary bond had formed between them, and together they moved freely through the open waters along the coast of Iasos.
The people of the city were so moved by their devotion that they engraved the image of the child and dolphin onto their coins — preserving the story for generations.
For us, Hermias became more than a name.
It became a symbol of connection, loyalty, and permanence.
